Banking Product Owner Senior Manager
Job Description
Accenture is seeking a Senior Banking Product Owner to shape the strategy and execution of the One Financial platform from its onsite desk in Des Moines, IA. This role defines the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives while guiding cross-functional teams to drive adoption and strong platform governance. The position carries a salary range of USD 122,700 to 338,300 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree with at least a decade of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the One Financial platform, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Serve as the primary bridge among business, engineering, and cross-functional teams to maximize platform value and drive adoption across multiple products and units.
- Translate complex financial and operational requirements into scalable platform capabilities, emphasizing reusability, integration, and long-term sustainability and innovation.
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap, balancing immediate delivery priorities with long-term scalability and performance.
- Represent the voice of customers and stakeholders, gathering input from experience, finance, technology, risk, compliance, and operations to inform decisions.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, creating epics and user stories that reflect business value, risk, and technical dependencies.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and UX teams to deliver high-quality platform capabilities using Agile/Scrum practices.
- Establish and enforce platform standards including APIs, data models, and integration patterns to ensure consistency and interoperability.
- Drive platform governance, including versioning, lifecycle management, and backward compatibility across releases.
- Monitor adoption, usage metrics, and value realization, using data-driven insights to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate stakeholder alignment, manage trade-offs, and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership.
- Support financial and business case analysis, including ROI, cost optimization, and platform investment decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of combined experience in Product Management, Consumer lending, or Core banking.
- Bachelor's degree required.
