Contract Product Owner

CapTech Consulting is hiring for a Contract Product Owner in Columbus, OH (hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Build fast, collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to evaluate and recommend Agile practices plus business and technical solutions
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams to drive impactful business outcomes
• Shape creative client solutions while maintaining awareness of downstream impacts when rolling out new features across programs
• Create integrated IT project plans to set, track, manage, and report milestones and deliverables
• Support triage and resolution of critical project issues and scope changes during project phases
• Provide clear project status communications for internal and client teams using effective verbal and oral presentations
• Influence stakeholders at all levels and help implement recommended changes
• Perform hands-on work as needed, including analysis, design, process engineering, and change management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years experience in an Agile product ownership or project/program management role, preferably with full development life cycle experience
• 3 years experience with Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
• Experience in digital product management or Agile product coaching
• Proven ability to manage large and complex consulting engagements
• Ability to assess user requirements, identify omissions or gaps, and design optimal solutions
• Creative approach to solving complex technical and business problems
• Ability to establish credibility quickly with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Details: Contract role. Salary range: $50–$85 per hour. Minimum experience: 3 years. Location: Columbus, OH (hybrid).
