Job Description

Unique Industries is seeking a Creative Manager of Product Design to lead the development of our branded and private label Everyday and Seasonal product programs from concept through final execution. This onsite role in Philadelphia guides a team of product designers, providing clear direction and mentorship to deliver high-quality, on-trend designs that align with brand strategy and evolving market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and grow a multi-level product design team, fostering collaboration and high performance
  • Set clear creative direction and supervise design output to align with brand standards and business goals
  • Assess performance and deliver ongoing feedback, coaching, and growth opportunities
  • Assist with workload forecasting and resource planning to ensure timely delivery
  • From time to time contribute hands-on to concept development and execution during peak workloads or tight deadlines
  • Help drive ideation and creation of innovative product concepts aligned with consumer trends and retail opportunities
  • Ensure designs satisfy specifications, cost targets, and manufacturing constraints before production handoff
  • Maintain consistency and quality across programs and final deliverables
  • Continuously research trends from global markets to steer product direction, color, pattern, and material innovation
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and people-management abilities with a track record of developing creative talent
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Solid grasp of product design for consumer goods, including party goods and seasonal assortments
  • Familiarity with print production methods such as offset and flexography
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field is required; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive product design experience in consumer goods, retail, or private label settings
  • At least three years of hands-on leadership experience guiding creative teams
  • Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered
