Stia Jewelry offers an onsite, hands-on opportunity in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ for a part-time Design / Product / Operations Assistant. This role provides exposure across design, product development, merchandising, sales, production, social media, website management and marketing, with growth opportunities and on-the-job training. Compensation is $21-$22 per hour.

Work Details

Responsibilities

• Design
• Product Development (working with overseas factories)
• Merchandising (assortment planning and identifying "the big idea" each season)
• Sales (order tracking and customer support)
• Production (inventory management and assembly)
• Social Media
• Website management
• Marketing (preparing print material, campaigns and photoshoots)
• Order fulfillment

Requirements

• Ability to work with hands and be flexible on required daily tasks
• Available to work and be flexible (ideally Monday-Friday 9AM-4:30PM)
• Flexible; must have childcare / a car
• Great attitude and willingness to jump in and help anywhere
• Fashion savvy with a strong eye for trend and style
• Team oriented candidate with leadership potential

Technologies

• Adobe Illustrator

Education

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
• Jewelry Making: 1 year (Preferred)
