Digital Product Owner
Job Description
A contract Digital Product Owner role in Charlotte, NC (hybrid) at Wells Fargo to drive the execution of an established product roadmap and key 2027 priorities.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog to align with business goals and strategic initiatives.
- Collect and analyze business needs, translate them into user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (business, technology, QA, content, analytics) to deliver platform enhancements and new capabilities.
- Lead agile ceremonies and support delivery practices across Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to set platform priorities, manage competing demands, and drive alignment on objectives.
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams, including regression testing, validation, and QA efforts.
- Monitor platform performance using analytics and test results to identify optimization opportunities and drive continual improvement.
- Ensure releases deliver measurable business value and conform to enterprise standards.
- Support release planning, feature prioritization, and execution of the roadmap.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues early, and develop mitigation approaches to keep timelines intact.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Experience developing digital products, content platforms, or digital optimization initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager or an equivalent Content Management System.
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Experience managing backlogs, user stories, and requirements across the product lifecycle.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and testing strategies.
- Experience coordinating testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret testing results and performance analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and proactive project management abilities.
- Proven ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
