Job Description
Revive Media is hiring a Director of Product Operations for its remote product-led platform, Convoy.
Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and develop the product management team using a clear leveling framework
- Partner with product leadership and lead product managers to translate priorities into capacity and ownership
- Build and run the planning and delivery cadence to align team work to company priorities and improve cross-organization visibility into what ships and when
- Set consistent standards for specs, QA, definition of done, releases, and outcome tracking
- Define and maintain an approach to tracking expected vs actual outcomes at the team and feature level, and use learnings to improve future product decisions
- Lead the routing and resolution of production issues, escalations, and urgent requests across product, engineering, and the teams surfacing them
- Continuously improve product team systems for planning, delivery, support, and communication through better processes, tooling, and automation
- Act as a player-coach, stepping in hands-on when needed while strengthening team judgment and capability
- Partner with lead product managers to represent product in company-wide planning and communication
- Build strong working relationships across engineering, design, GTM, customer success, and company leadership
Requirements
- 8+ years in product management or product operations, including 4+ years managing a team of product managers
- Experience building or improving how a product organization plans, delivers, and tracks outcomes, ideally in a fast-growing company
- Comfort owning a support or escalation process alongside planning work, with success measured by how smoothly issues get handled
- Proven track record hiring, coaching, and leveling product managers
- Strong analytical instincts with experience working directly with data and dashboards
- Excellent cross-functional communication, able to represent product credibly with engineering, go-to-market, and executive leadership
- Ad tech or complex B2B workflow product experience is a plus, not required
What success looks like
- Within one year, product execution becomes more predictable, with downstream alignment across product managers, engineering, and the broader company
- Each squad and feature has clear before-and-after results: expected outcome vs actual outcome, with product managers able to demonstrate impact using the data
- Product managers grow in capability, produce higher-quality work, and can see how their work drives measurable outcomes
- Production issues and escalations resolve through a defined process, reducing interruptions and minimizing time product managers spend on them
- Releases require less last-minute coordination due to shared standards for specs, QA, and definition of done
- The planning cadence provides reliable visibility into shipping timing that other teams trust more than before
- As the team scales, operating practices stay lightweight while improving clarity and consistency without slowing product managers down
Benefits
- Comprehensive healthcare including medical, vision & dental: 100% covered for employees and 50% covered for dependents
- Fully remote role with a remote working stipend
- Flexible PTO (take what you need, when you need)
- Coffee or Tea Subscription
- Monthly 3 day weekend
Compensation
- Expected base pay: $175,000
- Total compensation (including a quarterly bonus): typically ranges from $190k to $205k
- Actual compensation may vary based on skill set, experience, and geographic location
Location: United States (remote). Salary range: USD 175,000 - 205,000 per yearly.
