Harmony Healthcare IT is building an operating system that helps healthcare product ideas move faster from discovery to long-term adoption. As the Director of Product Operations, you will design the governance and release practices, strengthen productization and enablement, and lead the measurement and continuous improvement that keeps the portfolio executing with clarity. This role also functions as a highly visible connector across teams, aligning Product, Engineering, Implementation, Support, Operations, IT, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
What you will do
- Design the playbook by defining and executing the Product Operations strategy, operating model, standards, and governance practices that translate company and product priorities into coordinated action.
- Create clarity from idea to impact through lifecycle and stage-gate frameworks that make decision rights, deliverables, dependencies, approvals, and accountability clear from discovery through post-launch adoption.
- Set the operating rhythm by leading annual and periodic roadmap planning, portfolio cadences, operational-readiness reviews, Product team onboarding, and process education.
- Make priorities visible by partnering with Product leadership to strengthen prioritization, capacity insight, portfolio transparency, and consistent execution.
- Lead vendor engagement by managing third-party vendor relationships for Product Management as it relates to software tooling enablement and EHR partnerships.
- Orchestrate enterprise release management by establishing release-management standards and maintaining one integrated release schedule.
- Make readiness measurable by defining and monitoring criteria, risks, dependencies, communications, training, documentation, support preparation, and customer-impact plans.
- Guide confident decisions by facilitating readiness reviews and go/no-go decisions, driving gap closure, and delivering timely release information for the right audiences.
- Lead change without disruption by coordinating accountable delivery for end-user platform, application, feature, data, and customer migrations or transitions.
- Turn capability into repeatable offerings by leading cross-functional productization programs with clear packaging, operational support, implementation readiness, and adoption plans.
- Keep launches moving by managing launch plans, readiness scorecards, milestones, decision logs, risks, dependencies, and executive status reporting.
- Prepare the organization to win by ensuring affected functions are ready to sell, market, contract, implement, support, operate, and measure new products, modules, enhancements, and releases alongside Product Managers and Product Marketing.
- Connect commercial and operational details by coordinating packaging, pricing tools, discovery forms, contracts, and customer migration requirements with Product Management and business partners.
- Scale product enablement by setting the product enablement strategy and creating role-based curriculums, learning paths, certifications, skills assessments, demonstrations, and readiness programs for employees, customers, and partners.
- Equip every audience by developing and maintaining launch kits, training materials, product presentations, internal communications, product playbooks, and department-specific readiness resources with Product Management, Product Marketing, Development, and enablement teams.
- Accelerate adoption by partnering with Customer Success, Support, Implementation, Sales, and Marketing to improve onboarding, product proficiency, usage, message consistency, and self-service while reducing avoidable support demand.
- Prove what works by connecting enablement activity to proficiency, feature usage, launch outcomes, customer experience, and support trends through meaningful learning and adoption measures.
- Create one trusted source of product truth by owning governance for centralized knowledge repositories, internal and customer-facing knowledge bases, training assets, product documentation, and playbooks.
- Keep content useful and current by establishing standards, templates, ownership, review cadences, version control, archival practices, and quality controls.
- Translate complexity into clarity by overseeing release notes, product and feature overviews, user and administrator guidance, training modules, technical specifications, and launch communications.
- Reimagine how people learn by leading the product video and digital-learning strategy, standards, product walkthroughs, AI-assisted content, and on-demand learning libraries.
- Tell the performance story with KPIs by owning Product organization KPIs and executive reporting across roadmap delivery, release performance, feature adoption, product health, development throughput, customer feedback, readiness, and enablement effectiveness.
- Move insight into action by leading recurring operational reviews that reveal trends, surface risks, clarify decisions, and drive accountable follow-through.
- Remove friction by identifying bottlenecks, standardizing best practices, and pursuing responsible automation through enterprise software and approved tools.
- Build a better system every cycle by using data and stakeholder feedback to improve lifecycle governance, launch quality, operational efficiency, and organizational throughput.
- Be the connector by serving as an operating partner to Product leadership and linking Product, Engineering, Implementation, Support, Operations, IT, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other stakeholders.
- Create alignment without relying on authority by resolving cross-functional ambiguity, establishing ownership, and communicating decisions, risks, and tradeoffs effectively.
- Build capability that grows with us by developing scalable Product Operations and Enablement functions, managing and coaching team members, and helping shape future roles.
- Champion momentum with discipline by leading change with transparency, continuous improvement, customer focus, and measurable outcomes.
