Job Description

Kalshi is building products with rigorous operational excellence, and this role brings structure to how the product organization plans, delivers, measures, and improves. You will lead Product Operations to help teams coordinate effectively across planning through launch and ongoing optimization, partnering across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, Customer Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Risk, and Business Development.

Compensation: $150,674.16 - $221,242.01 per year. Incentives and long-term upside include an annual performance-based incentive and equity appreciation opportunities. What you’ll do

  • Lead Product Operations and build scalable operating processes for the product organization.
  • Design product operating frameworks for planning, prioritization, execution, launch readiness, performance tracking, and post-launch optimization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional product initiatives with clear ownership, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to establish effective planning and execution workflows.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, operating calendars, launch plans, and cross-functional coordination processes.
  • Establish product KPIs, dashboards, reporting standards, and performance review processes.
  • Monitor adoption, engagement, usage, conversion, retention, and operational performance using relevant product metrics.
  • Work with Data and Analytics teams to build product insights that support data-driven decisions.
  • Coordinate product launches and ensure operational readiness across Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and other relevant teams.
  • Create launch readiness checklists, approval processes, documentation standards, and post-launch review procedures.
  • Collect feedback from customers, internal teams, and operational stakeholders to identify product improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Customer Operations and Support to surface recurring product issues, customer pain points, and operational friction.
  • Prioritize operational improvements with Product and Technology teams based on customer impact, business value, performance data, and resource requirements.
  • Put processes in place for tracking product issues, escalations, dependencies, risks, and resolution timelines.
  • Develop executive-level product operations reporting covering product performance, delivery progress, and operational risks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve development and operating efficiency through process optimization, automation, and tooling.
  • Support annual and quarterly product planning, resource planning, capacity discussions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance and senior leadership on product-related budgets, resource allocation, business cases, and performance analysis.
  • Ensure product operating processes incorporate applicable Legal, Compliance, Risk, security, and governance requirements.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Product Operations team as the organization expands.

What you bring

  • 20+ years of progressive experience in product operations, product management, business operations, program management, or a related field.
  • Significant leadership experience as a Director of Product Operations, Senior Product Operations Manager, Head of Product Operations, or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to build and improve product operating processes, planning frameworks, launch processes, and performance management systems.
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, product planning, launch management, product analytics, and cross-functional execution.
  • Demonstrated skills translating product strategy into operating plans, processes, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using product metrics, dashboards, customer insights, and performance data.
  • Track record coordinating complex initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Data, and Marketing.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills for managing multiple priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders.
  • Experience establishing product KPIs, operating reviews, reporting frameworks, and executive-level performance reporting.
  • Ability to identify operational bottlenecks and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience with product management platforms, project management tools, analytics systems, reporting tools, and workflow automation is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing environment where processes and priorities evolve.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • MBA or relevant advanced qualification is preferred.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, banking, brokerage, investment, trading, SaaS, or technology is a plus; technology companies, financial institutions, SaaS businesses, consulting firms, and high-growth companies are also welcome.
