This on-site role is based in Beaverton, Oregon, and focuses on leading bag design within Nike's Accessories Design team to shape seasonal concepts for active lifestyles.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative bag concepts that balance practical functionality with contemporary style for today’s active lifestyle and performance athletes
• Blend sports performance with modern fashion sensibilities to ensure products are both usable and desirable
• Support the Senior Design Manager in building cohesive collections and maintaining design excellence across the portfolio

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field; other suitable combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered
• 6+ years of relevant work experience
• Ability to set an inspiring creative direction through thoughtful visual research and storytelling
• Experience designing women’s bags across lifestyle and performance categories
• Ability to translate a design concept into 3 to 5 core items within a collection
• Sensitivity to materials, textiles, and hand feel to ensure comfort and appeal
• Strong sketching skills and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Focus on functionality and usability for everyday and active lifestyles
• Portfolio demonstrating women’s bag design with an emphasis on functional yet stylish solutions
• Collaborative approach with openness to feedback and cross-team cooperation
• Positive, driven personality with curiosity for trends and consumer needs
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and processes
• Passion for sports and for analyzing utility and functionality to elevate the consumer experience
