Job Description
The Manager, Delivery Product Owner role sits within Deloitte Tax Transformation in San Diego, CA, offering a hybrid work arrangement and a salary range of USD 116,175 to 237,375 per year. This position translates complex business needs into delivery-ready features and steers product priorities across a fast-moving technology transformation portfolio. You will collaborate with Delivery Product Owners, product leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to validate quality, support rollout, and drive end-user adoption across cross-domain initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Delivery Product Owners, product leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to convert business requirements into deliverable features.
- Ensure quality through thorough reviews and testing.
- Aid in the rollout and adoption of new product capabilities.
- Contribute across the full product lifecycle, from refining requirements and reviewing acceptance criteria to prioritization, deployment readiness, process documentation, and end-user enablement.
- Refine requirements and review acceptance criteria.

- Partner with Delivery Product Owners and development teams to refine feature priorities, requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected business outcomes.
- Organize inputs, surface dependencies, and help evaluate business value, risk, and readiness to support prioritization discussions.
- Collaborate with Technical Product Owners and the broader team on scope, sequencing, sprint planning, feature readiness, deployment preparation, and progress tracking.
- Build cross-domain knowledge to connect related impacts and dependencies, sustaining continuity as priorities evolve.
- Dwell on bugs, support tickets, and business requests to assess impact, clarify issues, and prepare prioritization and resolution recommendations.
- Conduct regular sprint testing, Program Increment testing, and hands-on feature validation to ensure functionality matches specifications and user needs.
- Support PI demos and other showcases by preparing features and validating readiness for demonstration.
- Contribute to process documentation, learning guides, and end-user materials that support adoption and ongoing operational effectiveness.
- Track product-related risks, issues, and defects, escalate as needed, and adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Ability to perform job duties within a hybrid model requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, design thinking, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting product delivery, business analysis, project coordination, or technology implementation teams with demonstrated involvement in large-scale, full-lifecycle system implementations or modernization projects featuring complex integrations, APIs, and middleware.
- Proven experience supporting testing activities, validating feature readiness, and contributing to process documentation or end-user enablement resources.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, RAGs, Optical Character Recognition, and how these technologies can address business problems.

- Ability to travel up to 20% on average, depending on program needs.
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice if eligible to sit for the CPA.
