Technical Product Owner (Strategy & Execution)

Marlabs is seeking a Technical Product Owner (Strategy & Execution) in Indianapolis, IN (onsite). In this role, you will help translate enterprise digital technology strategy into actionable roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and measurable outcomes. You will serve as the bridge between business leadership and delivery teams across cloud, data, analytics, AI, and enterprise platform initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

• Partner with business and technology leaders to define strategic priorities, technology roadmaps, investment opportunities, and measurable business outcomes.
• Translate business objectives and technology strategy into product roadmaps, requirements, prioritized backlogs, and delivery plans.
• Lead execution across cloud, data, analytics, AI, and enterprise platform initiatives, collaborating with architects, engineers, Scrum teams, and Release Train Engineers.
• Manage priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery roadblocks across multiple initiatives while keeping strategic goals aligned with day-to-day execution.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and help drive decision-making across competing priorities by providing executive-level recommendations, status updates, business cases, and value propositions.
• Track delivery progress and business outcomes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and pursue solutions that increase value across the technology portfolio.
• Coordinate delivery activities across cross-functional, geographically distributed, and offshore teams while maintaining clear accountability and communication.

What you bring

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or similar technology delivery role, driving enterprise-scale initiatives from concept through delivery.
• Proven ability to connect technology strategy with execution, including roadmap development, portfolio planning, backlog management, prioritization, and value realization.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, data platforms, analytics, AI/ML-enabled solutions, and modern enterprise architecture, with the ability to effectively engage architects and engineering teams.
• Solid Product Ownership and Agile delivery experience, including defining requirements, managing backlogs, coordinating dependencies, and partnering with Scrum teams and Release Train Engineers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills, including translating complex technology topics into clear recommendations and business outcomes.
• Experience in complex enterprise transformation environments; SAFe, Jira, consulting/advisory, globally distributed teams, or regulated industry experience are highly valued.
