Job Description
The Marketing Product Manager role at Korean Food Wholesale is a bilingual English-Korean position focused on guiding product development and market execution from concept to launch. The on-site role is based in City of Industry, CA, with responsibility for cross-functional collaboration, competitive analysis, profitability assessment, and support for new product development pipelines across multiple categories.
Summary
This bilingual Marketing Product Manager coordinates the full product lifecycle, conducts market and competitive analysis, evaluates profitability, and leads go-to-market activities across categories. The role also supports short-term NPD pipelines in service of long-term brand objectives and business goals, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance products from concept through commercialization across all categories.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and monitor industry trends to inform product development directions.
- Analyze current and future product lines for profitability and viability, generate reports, and present recommendations to leadership.
- Support the development and execution of short-term new product development pipelines aligned with long-term brand objectives.
- Assist with go-to-market planning and ensure successful launch execution.
- Track the effectiveness of product launch campaigns and share insights with relevant business teams.
- Develop trade promotion materials for trade shows and brand related events.
- Manage product specifications and sales collateral, including sell sheets and brochures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the Food Industry; essential experience in CPG brand marketing.
- Proven history in marketing, strategy and planning, and new product development.
- Strong time management, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize projects.
- Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights is a plus.
- Influencing skills and a collaborative team player who can motivate others.
- Solid project management capabilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Korean is preferred but not required.
