Principal Associate, Project Manager - Product Operations (Execution & Talent Enablement)

Information Technology Senior Management Forum has a Principal Associate, Project Manager role supporting Capital One’s Commercial Banking Product team in McLean, VA (onsite). In this position, you will help create the operating system that improves execution and strengthens talent development through standardized Jira workflows, OKR practices, and repeatable capability-building and reporting routines.

This role centers on operational excellence and execution discipline, along with enablement programs that help product teams align local work to strategic metrics and develop the skills needed to deliver. You’ll build core artifacts used for recurring executive touchpoints and partner with stakeholders to bring structure to complex programs.

What you’ll do

• Establish and maintain Commercial Product’s OKR methodology, reporting routines, and tracking cadences.
• Provide product teams with frameworks and templates that align local deliverables to top-of-house strategic metrics.
• Manage Commercial’s Jira platform operations, including reporting and team-level enablement.
• Drive adoption of a standardized workflow taxonomy to increase consistency and structure across execution.
• Execute organization-wide associate engagement programs, capability-building routines, and talent development tracking.
• Apply day-to-day operational discipline across product teams using standardized Jira workflows, OKR tracking cadences, and talent enablement routines.
• Create and maintain operational artifacts used for MBRs, QBRs, and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership, quickly putting structure in place for complex bodies of work.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
• At least 3 years of Project Management experience

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and influencing skills
• Experience delivering results on complex projects

Compensation and incentives

Salary: USD 120,800 - 137,900 per yearly (McLean, VA).

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.

Note: Salary ranges may vary by location: Charlotte, NC: $109,900 - $125,400; Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400.
