Job Description
Principal Product Manager - Tech, Advertising at Amazon.com Services LLC, onsite in New York, NY, leads the technical design and roadmap for a significant portion of Amazon Advertising to improve reach, scale, and performance for advertiser campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to boost reach, scale, and performance for advertiser customers by linking advertisers with supply sources that drive optimal campaign results.
- Own the technical design and roadmap for a sizable portion of Amazon Advertising's business.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across internal teams and stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and drive the definition of new capabilities through product and business requirements documents.
- Apply a customer-first approach, analyze data to uncover issues, and steer product development with cross-functional teams to address those needs.
- Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration to build alignment and deliver results.
- Focus on delivering value and influencing the direction of broader industry trends through product leadership.
- Be responsible for the full product lifecycle from strategy and prioritization through development, adoption, and iteration in partnership with global sales and account management teams.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of technical product or program management experience.
- At least 3 years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
- Experience guiding engineering discussions on technology decisions and strategy for a product.
- Experience delivering features and making tradeoffs for a product.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience leading cross-organizational programs and aligning teams to timelines and deliverables without formal authority.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Knowledge of SQL is preferred.
