Job Description

Principal Product Manager – Technical, onsite in Seattle, WA, at Amazon.com Services LLC, leads advertiser controls and campaign management initiatives in a Gen AI driven ad tech environment with high autonomy and cross-functional influence. Salary range USD 206,900 to 279,900 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Define and steer the long-term product vision for advertiser controls and campaign management as shopper behavior shifts toward conversational commerce.
  • Redesign how advertisers create, manage, and optimize campaigns by applying advances in large language models and generative AI to deliver intelligent, adaptive experiences.
  • Collaborate with advertising and retail leadership to ensure products enhance both advertiser and shopper experiences, applying decisive trade-offs when necessary.
  • Make high-judgment product decisions in complex, ambiguous environments with incomplete information.
  • Facilitate alignment across engineers, data scientists, designers, and senior leaders, delivering through influence even without formal authority.
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems, constraints, and downstream dependencies to identify appropriate trade-offs.
  • Work backward from customer problems to define solutions that benefit both advertisers and shoppers.
  • Stay at the frontier of Gen AI and large language model capabilities, translating emerging research into pragmatic product opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience.
  • 8+ years of technical product management or program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience delivering product features and evaluating tradeoffs.
  • Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience leading engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy.
  • Experience as a technical product manager.
