Job Description

In Plano, Texas, this role sits within Toyota Financial Services and centers on owning end-to-end, customer-facing digital products. You’ll rely on data to drive decision-making and collaborate with engineering and design in a startup-like rhythm, all within the structure of a large enterprise. The position emphasizes delivering real user value, measurable outcomes, and steady iteration.

Responsibilities

  • Own a product area end-to-end from discovery through delivery and iteration
  • Engage with customers regularly — conduct usability tests, participate in discovery interviews, and translate insights into product direction
  • Define product strategy using PR/FAQs and PRDs that articulate the customer problem, the solution, and how success will be measured
  • Prioritize decisions based on data, customer feedback, and business impact rather than opinions or stakeholder loudness
  • Partner with engineering and design — you define the what and why, they handle the how
  • Ship incrementally — plan releases, establish acceptance criteria, and deploy working software to users promptly
  • Instrument everything — set success metrics, build dashboards, and use data to guide what to build next

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience on consumer-facing digital products
  • A proven track record of shipping products that customers actually use, not just deployed features
  • Experience with customer research — led usability tests or interviews and leveraged findings to steer product direction
  • Strong written communication — ability to craft clear product briefs understandable by engineers, designers, and business stakeholders
  • Startup mindset with enterprise polish — comfortable with ambiguity, fast movement, and capable of guiding key stakeholders with patience and confident leadership
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams in an agile environment to ensure built solutions align with vision
  • Interest in modern product management practices and AI-powered tooling — exploring how AI can accelerate discovery, analysis, and delivery

Benefits

  • A work environment rooted in teamwork, flexibility, and respect
  • Professional growth programs and tuition reimbursement to help advance your career
  • Team Member Vehicle Purchase Discount
  • Toyota Team Member Lease Vehicle Program (if applicable)
  • Comprehensive health care and wellness plans for your family
  • Toyota 401(k) Savings Plan with company match and annual retirement contribution from Toyota
  • Paid holidays and paid time off
  • Referral services covering prenatal, adoption, childcare, schools, and more
  • Tax-advantaged accounts including Health Savings Account, Health Care FSA, and Dependent Care FSA

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Experience in automotive, fintech, lending, or marketplace products
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered product features such as search, recommendations, or personalization
  • Experience building products with regulatory or compliance considerations
  • Experience drafting PR/FAQ or similar working backwards product documents
