Product Manager
Job Description
Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking a Product Manager in Houston, TX (hybrid) to own product outcomes across the full product life cycle. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate stakeholder needs into clear product goals, guide roadmap priorities, and support quality through software testing.
Product life cycle ownership
- Own all aspects of the product life cycle, including the technical, functional, and business foundations of the company’s products.
- Help ensure products meet high-quality standards and align with clients’ business goals by testing a variety of software applications.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Design, and Software Development, to build customer-facing product features.
- Support facilitation of product discovery by understanding stakeholder needs and feeding insights into planning.
Roadmap and goal prioritization
- Assist in managing the product roadmap by deeply understanding the relationship between automotive dealerships and their consumers.
- Clearly define and prioritize product goals to ensure the team works on the right priorities at the right time.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Business, or UX Design.
- Comfort working in unknown problem spaces and researching problems to enable long-term solutions.
- Excellent leadership skills; experience managing a variety of stakeholders is preferred.
- Professional, effective communication skills in both verbal and written form.
- Strong interest in solving problems and validating assumptions with data, insight, and peer discussions.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
Training and travel
- During an initial 120-day period, gain firsthand experience through onsite training by traveling up to 25% of the time, supported by classroom and on-the-job training.
- After the training period, travel is limited to no more than 10%.
