Based in Sunnyvale, CA, Amazon.com Services LLC offers a comprehensive compensation package for this onsite Product Manager III role, with an annual salary range of USD 163,401 to 206,000, plus a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, medical benefits, financial benefits, and other rewards. This position also involves leading consumer-focused product development, shaping technical strategy and vision, and developing roadmaps and requirements while managing prioritization and stakeholder buy-in as a technical platform product owner.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of consumer-focused product initiatives, technical strategy, and vision, supported by internal and external analysis.
- Define creative, high-quality, straightforward product roadmaps aligned with the team’s strategy and vision.
- Develop detailed requirements and user stories suitable for product specifications and architecture for each product and application.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs as the technical platform product owner among customer experience, performance, and operational support load.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impact the business.
- Identify gaps or bugs in current solutions, size the impact, and advocate for fixes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field plus five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience.
- One year of experience conducting business analytics in a Big Data environment.
- One year of experience performing strategic and financial analyses for projects, products, or business lines.
- One year of experience using statistical analysis and data modeling to drive business actions.
- One year of experience working with large and complex data sets.
