Job Description
Join Amazon as a Product Manager III on site in Boston, MA. This role offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of USD 143,376 to 184,100 per year, plus a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, medical benefits, financial benefits, and additional programs. Responsibilities
- Lead the development of consumer-focused product development, technical strategy, and vision supported by internal and external analysis.
- Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision.
- Develop detailed requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs as a technical platform product owner among customer experience, performance, and operational support load.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the business.
- Identify bugs or gaps in current solutions through daily anecdotes, size the impact, and advocate for implementation of fixes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience.
- One year of experience in conducting business analytics in a Big Data environment.
- One year of experience in performing strategic and financial analyses for projects, products, or business lines.
- One year of experience in using statistical analysis and data modeling to drive business actions.
- One year of experience in working with large and complex data sets.
