Product Manager Lead, Entertainment and Travel Ads (Mandarin Speaker)
Job Description
The role leads product management for TikTok's entertainment and travel ads and is Mandarin-speaking. It entails defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Web Ads and Open-Loop E-Commerce advertising across travel, entertainment, and web advertiser segments while driving cross-functional execution.
Responsibilities
- Define and guide the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Web Ads and Open-Loop E-Commerce advertising solutions across travel, entertainment, and web advertiser segments.
- Own key business outcomes, including revenue growth, advertiser satisfaction, retention, and overall platform adoption, while ensuring scalable product development.
- Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing product management teams, fostering innovation, customer focus, operational excellence, and accountability.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align investments with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Drive the development of scalable machine learning powered advertising products that enhance advertiser performance and maximize ROAS.
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, design, operations, sales, and marketing to deliver end-to-end solutions from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Establish frameworks to identify market opportunities, customer pain points, and industry trends, translating insights into impactful product strategies.
- Advance advertiser-centric innovation by developing sophisticated targeting, optimization, attribution, measurement, and product-matching capabilities.
- Ensure products comply with evolving privacy regulations and industry standards while promoting responsible use of advertising signals.
- Foster partnerships across Targeting, Attribution, Optimization, Insights, and other platform teams to unlock new capabilities and improve global advertising performance.
- Act as a thought leader and advocate for the travel, entertainment, and web advertising ecosystem, shaping direction across the monetization organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Five or more years of product management experience, including leadership of advertising technology products and teams.
- Proven track record in defining product vision, strategy, and execution for large-scale advertising, monetization, or machine learning driven products.
- Deep expertise in the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad delivery, targeting, attribution, optimization, and measurement systems.
- Strong understanding of the travel, entertainment, and web advertising industries and their evolving business needs.
- Experience leading global cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, data science, sales, operations, and business teams.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required; the role involves frequent communication with global teams, clients, and stakeholders in both language regions.

Compensation for this role in the specified city ranges from $228,000 to $492,800 annually. Total compensation may include discretionary bonuses or incentives and restricted stock units, and may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
