Job Description
The Product Manager III at Fallon Health leads a targeted portfolio, driving feature development and lifecycle management while aligning cross-functional teams to strengthen competitive positioning and improve member experiences.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates the ability to guide cross-functional groups, steer decision making, and hold end-to-end accountability for successful product implementations and enhancements.
- Work with product ownership and the Actuarial team to develop and submit annual rate filings.
- Maintain strong knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements, with direct engagement experience with the Massachusetts Health Connector.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Fallon Health systems, including interdependencies among products, internal platforms, and external vendor partners.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert and accountable leader for product filings, overseeing Evidence of Coverage (EOC), SERFF plan and benefit templates, HIOS submissions, and connector seal of approval submissions.
- Act as Fallon Health’s lead or key contributor for new product development and implementation initiatives, partnering with product ownership to design and execute customized solutions.
- Function as a central liaison across Fallon Health departments, external regulatory bodies, and third-party vendors to address product-related inquiries and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications and regulatory teams to develop and maintain product collateral; ensure materials for members and providers accurately reflect product design, processes, policies, and benefits.
- Develop and deliver internal and external product training to ensure alignment and understanding across stakeholders.
- Oversee and report on portfolio performance, including financial results, member growth and retention, operational effectiveness, clinical utilization, and customer experience.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in product or project management.
- Managed care experience with knowledge of plan operations, information technology, finance, actuarial considerations, compliance, product implementation, corporate communications, customer service, provider network management, and federal and state health insurance regulations, including marketing aspects.
- Experience with government agencies, including the Massachusetts Health Connector.
- Significant knowledge of Medicare and Subsidized Connector Commercial products.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel; experience with SharePoint and OneDrive is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.

Pay Range Disclosure
In accordance with the Massachusetts Wage Transparency Act, the pay for this position is $110,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting our good faith estimate at posting. Final compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and fit with the role’s responsibilities.
