Product Manager // Marketing Lead
Job Description
TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager / Marketing Lead to support the continued growth of Lemur, an enterprise mobile mapping platform for utilities. This onsite role in Raleigh, NC brings together product management, UI/UX and workflow design leadership, product marketing, and active presence across product, development, and go-to-market efforts.
Role focus
- Own Lemur’s events presence and promotional activities.
- Lead the product marketing and digital presence for Lemur, including website and social engagement.
- Drive product evolution toward intuitive, user-centered workflows for field crews to support adoption and operational efficiency.
- Combine customer insight, market analysis, and performance metrics to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance LemurPlatform.com, including updating product content, publishing new pages, migrating blogs and resources, and building a centralized resource library.
- Manage Lemur’s social media presence with a minimum posting cadence of one post per week.
- Develop and execute a coordinated social content plan in collaboration with marketing stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain Lemur user stories with SMEs, using best-practice format: [persona] performs [action] for [business outcome].
- Facilitate deep-dive working sessions with development teams to refine and expand requirements.
- Build deep expertise in Lemur functionality, customer use cases, and value realization.
- Understand customer platform usage across workflows, including historical context and adoption patterns, as well as market trends.
- Evaluate and challenge new feature requests for scalability, usability, and alignment with broader product strategy.
- Support definition and tracking of product metrics, including adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Translate real-world utility workflows into clear, efficient in-app experiences.
- Define and maintain best-practice workflow frameworks to guide product design and implementation.
- Develop and refine product messaging and positioning, including tracking competitive landscape and target audiences.
- Create and maintain core marketing collateral such as blogs, white papers, and product data sheets.
- Create and maintain sales enablement materials including battle cards and selling snapshots.
- Support webinars, videos, and other promotional efforts.
- Collaborate on partner marketing initiatives.
- Support and coordinate presence at key industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in product management and/or product marketing.
- Strong ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and workflows.
- Experience working with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Familiarity with enterprise software, utilities, GIS, or field service solutions preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail.

Compensation
- Salary range: USD $90,000 - $115,000 per year
- Compensation may vary based on experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other compensation
- Eligibility for the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program, contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators, which vary by year and employee.
