Job Description

PlanetArt is seeking a Web Product Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and ongoing optimization of web initiatives across its ecommerce platforms. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to improve conversion, engagement, and revenue. This position is based in Calabasas, CA with hybrid work options and offers a salary range of USD 115,000 to 135,000 per year. A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of technical project management experience are required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead web product initiatives from ideation through launch and continuous optimization, serving as the business owner for designated ecommerce experiences.
  • Monitor site performance, conversion funnels, customer engagement, analytics, and revenue metrics to identify growth opportunities and guide data informed decisions.
  • Drive ecommerce optimization efforts including A/B testing, checkout flow enhancements, landing page optimization, personalization, and customer journey improvements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Marketing, Creative, Content, and Analytics to define requirements and deliver high quality customer experiences.
  • Operate effectively in a fast paced, distributed team environment across multiple time zones, managing stakeholder communication, prioritization, and alignment.
  • Define project scope, business requirements, timelines, and success metrics while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and delivery execution.
  • Partner with development and QA teams to ensure release quality, resolve defects, and enable successful product launches.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, workflows, and release tracking in Confluence and Jira.
  • Balance customer experience, technical feasibility, scalability, and business objectives in product and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical project management experience.
  • Technical understanding of mobile and web technologies, platforms, and development methodologies.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with QA and testing practices for mobile and web applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technologists, executives, business partners, and IT team members.
  • Collaborative, cross department working style.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Information Technology or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Ability to use AI tools to rapidly create prototypes, workflows, mockups, and proofs of concept for engineering handoffs
  • Experience with AI-assisted product development workflows and rapid iteration methodologies
  • Familiarity with experimentation and behavioral analytics platforms such as Optimizely, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, FullStory, or similar
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization strategies for ecommerce websites
  • Exposure to personalization, recommendation systems, or customer segmentation strategies
  • Experience in high scale consumer ecommerce direct-to-consumer DTC and/or B2B environments

Working Conditions
