Product Operations Lead
Job Description
As part of the store leadership team at lululemon, the Product Operations Lead helps bring the store product strategy to life through day-to-day product operations and inventory management. This role focuses on keeping both the floor and back of house stocked, accurate, and organized while supporting a guest experience that reflects lululemon standards when you are scheduled on the floor.
Role Overview
The Product Operations Lead executes product operations aligned with standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will lead inventory processing and accuracy activities, ensure product actions like pull backs, consolidations, and repricing are completed, and use daily business data to support sell-through strategy and product availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with store leadership to translate product strategy into store execution.
- Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy according to SOPs.
- Ensure product actions (such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing) are executed.
- Create a fun and productive shift atmosphere that engages team members in inventory management.
- Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell-through and optimal guest availability.
- Review and interpret daily business data and metrics, including analyzing product sell-through to recommend product focus to store leadership or, for outlets, pricing direction.
- Participate in the store’s hiring process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training recommendations.
- Support team learning and performance through direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences.
- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by building supportive working relationships.
- When scheduled as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, move dynamically and lead from the floor to provide technical product education and a world-class guest experience.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
- Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation.
- At least 1 year of work experience.
- Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to complete work.
- Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.
Schedule and Availability
- Schedule varies based on store needs.
- Shifts are typically scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, some team members may work early mornings or late nights/overnights.
Work Context
- Work includes moving through the store, sometimes in the front of house with bright lights and loud music, and sometimes in back of house with no windows or natural light.
- Work is performed as part of a team, sometimes independently, and may involve using a computer or other technical devices.
- Occasional physical tasks may include moving boxes up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and using ladders to reach materials.
- For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: may involve industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat while preparing food or beverages.
Compensation and Benefits
- Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite).
- Base pay range: USD 24 to 30 per hour (hourly).
- Base pay range details: $24.50 - $28.25/hour (subject to minimum wage in the location).
- Target bonus: $2.00/hour.
- Total target base pay range: $26.50 - $30.25/hour.
