Product Operations Manager
Job Description
Based onsite in Menlo Park, CA, the Product Operations Manager will advance product quality and AI driven automation across Meta Superintelligence Labs, building autonomous AI agents and workflows to collect, generate, and triage quality issues while partnering with cross-functional teams on data-driven product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise on the health and quality of MSL products by analyzing data, observing product usage, and identifying trends, regressions, and user pain points.
- Own end-to-end quality programs for your area, including launches, dogfooding, root-cause analyses, severity incidents, and health regressions, with automation to support reliability.
- Design, build, and operate autonomous AI agents and workflows for your product area to handle bug triage, prioritization, classification, deduplication, and resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve high-priority issues and influence the product roadmap based on quality insights.
- Prepare communication materials and progress updates for multiple audiences, including leadership stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze data to identify quality trends and inform product decisions.
- Create dashboards and metrics to enable data-driven decision making.
- Establish and maintain an evaluation practice for AI solutions, ensuring accuracy thresholds through LLM judges, labelers, and governance frameworks.
- Assess existing AI solutions within scope and drive migration to standard platforms, partnering with AI platform leadership on scaling decisions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and foundation partners to align on organizational priorities and share best practices.
- Design and operate AI workflows that comply with data sensitivity guardrails, ensuring quality signals are collected and processed within encryption boundaries and privacy-first constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent practical experience; degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or data analysis.
- Analytical experience using data to tell a story and influence product direction with intermediate to advanced SQL.
- Experience building or deploying AI/ML solutions or automation within production workflows.
- Experience influencing multiple cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ability to break down ambiguous issues into actionable parts and develop solutions.
- Experience with AI products or platforms, understanding mobile-first product behaviors, encryption, and multi-platform feature parity.

Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development such as prompt engineering and agent orchestration, with awareness of emerging AI technologies.
- Experience applying responsible, ethical AI practices including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
- Prior experience on or with Meta’s Meta Superintelligence Labs or comparable large-scale messaging products.
- Proven ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements).
- Experience working with global or remote teams.
- Background in product quality, QA, or technical program management.
- Experience operating in flat, highly autonomous environments with strong individual contributor impact.
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, or machine learning evaluation frameworks.
