Product Operations Manager - Child Safety
Job Description
Join Apple’s Product Operations team to help operationalize new App Store marketplace capabilities across existing and new platforms. In this role, you’ll lead complex, cross-functional product operations work that connects product feature roll-outs with GTM execution, global pilots, and long-term sustainment. You’ll collaborate closely with product, business, engineering, design, and other teams to shape the processes, requirements, and tools needed to bring new marketplace ecosystem features to life.
What you’ll do
- Partner with Product, Business, Design, Legal, PR, Engineering, and other teams to align cross-functional efforts and deliver product feature launches through streamlined operations.
- Define and build products and operating models for app ecosystem feature development and launch across existing and new platforms.
- Translate product vision into requirements and features with product, engineering, and design, and lead execution including GTM operations.
- Design and implement processes and operational support needed for product features by partnering with business decision-makers on short- and long-term operational solutions.
- Develop business and functional requirements, then work with engineering teams to build and deploy tools and systems that enable new product features.
- Ensure business partners stay aligned on objectives for the product feature and its roll-out.
- Create and refine processes to support launching and sustaining product features, including training, playbooks, process documentation, resolution paths, and FAQs.
- Plan and drive global pilots and product launches with cross-functional business teams, product management, and engineering.
- Track product impact with business partners and inform feature enhancements for future development.
Required qualifications
- Relevant experience in management consulting or at a high-growth technology firm.
- Experience working on Trust & Safety related products or initiatives.
- Experience working globally across different levels of the organization and managing implementation of complex projects.
- Experience with full product lifecycles, including planning, prioritization, development, and leading go-to-market operations for new products.
- Experience working with executive and senior-level stakeholders.
- Experience contributing to discussions about technology and strategy related to a product.
- Ability to define and develop technology solutions in partnership with internal and external engineering teams.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and data into clear narratives for audiences across business, engineering, and executives.
- Ability to identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
- Strong business sense, project management, and relationship management skills to understand and resolve complex business issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Enthusiastic approach to problem solving, with willingness to adapt in a highly demanding, collaborative, fast-paced environment with changing direction.
- Knowledge of iOS, macOS and the App Store.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Advanced degree a plus.
- 7 years of experience in business operations or product management, including experience with Digital Marketplaces or E-Commerce Platforms.
- Experience developing use cases and requirements and leading activities to operationalize and launch new digital products.

Pay: Base pay range between $149,700 and $225,600 per year, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple base pay is one part of a total compensation package, and benefit and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other plan terms.
