Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog
• Partner with business leaders to understand priorities and translate them into product requirements
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for engineering teams
• Prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, and technical considerations
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies
• Make informed decisions around scope, priorities, and product direction
• Track product success metrics and continuously improve the user experience
• Ensure delivered features align with business objectives and quality expectations

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within a SaaS environment
• Experience owning product roadmaps and driving software development from concept through delivery
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proven ability to write user stories, define requirements, and prioritize product backlogs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience collaborating closely with software engineering teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar product management tools is preferred
• Experience with AI-enabled products or automation initiatives is a plus
• Experience within insurance, healthcare, benefits, or another regulated industry is helpful but not required
