Product Owner

Onsite Product Owner role in Dallas, TX for Vytwo, focusing on mortgage and insurance domain requirements, backlog ownership, and Agile delivery coordination with offshore teams in a regulated financial services environment; compensation USD 40 - 50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite Product Owner and main client liaison, coordinating priorities directly at the client site.
• Lead in-person discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to uncover business needs and regulatory constraints.
• Translate business objectives and regulatory requirements into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog within an Agile Scrum framework, balancing value, risk, and compliance considerations.
• Ensure ongoing adherence to Mortgage and Insurance regulations, including TRID, RESPA, HMDA, and NAIC requirements.
• Collaborate with offshore delivery teams and support sprint ceremonies, reviews, and alignment activities.
• Drive user acceptance testing, manage release readiness, and secure client sign-off prior to deployment.
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to client stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Management roles with progressive responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on experience in Mortgage and/or Insurance domains with practical domain knowledge.
• Proven onsite, client-facing delivery experience in regulated environments.
• Solid knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog grooming and sprint planning.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar collaborative tools for requirements and project tracking.
