Product Owner

In this onsite role in McLean, VA, you will lead product ownership activities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions within the client’s IT PMO team, working across multiple business workstreams and partnering with senior stakeholders and technical teams.

What you’ll do

• Serve as a Product Owner across one or more product teams, owning delivery oversight end to end.
• Lead requirements elicitation, translating business needs into Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Maintain and prioritize product backlogs in Azure DevOps, aligned with leadership priorities.
• Collaborate with Business Owners to define and prioritize work, and validate delivered capabilities.
• Drive backlog refinement and support sprint planning and ongoing product prioritization.
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for process improvement and modernization.
• Work with technical teams to resolve blockers, manage dependencies, and support successful product delivery.
• Create status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings to support decision-making.
• Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform product ownership activities, including backlog management, requirements development, agile planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight across multiple workstreams.

What you’ll bring

• Active Secret (or higher) Federal or DoD security clearance
• US Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
• Four (4) years professional experience with at least two (2) years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar Agile product management role
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Experience engaging business stakeholders and facilitating requirements discussions
• Ability to communicate relevant functional and technical subject matter to management and others

Nice to have

• Experience serving as a Product Owner on a Federal Government program
• Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs in Azure DevOps
• Experience prioritizing product backlogs in Azure DevOps; experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and/or other cloud-based software products
• Agile certifications (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Certified Scrum Master, etc.)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using them on a Federal program
• Experience building relationships, managing customer expectations, and communicating across all levels of staff and leadership
• Self-motivated with strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple workstreams against tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-contractor environment
• Comfort navigating complex stakeholder relationships and governance processes
• Strong coordination and liaison skills across business and technical groups
