Job Description
Bamboo Health is a healthcare technology company working on products that support clinician experiences and patient care in a complex B2B environment. This role offers autonomy to build with an enthusiastically supportive team, with the opportunity to learn from senior leaders and contribute to strategic priorities alongside world-class investors and advisors. You will also use AI-supported tools to streamline day-to-day Product Owner work and apply AI in recurring workflows.
Responsibilities
- Learn from senior team members and build product ownership expertise across requirements, delivery support, and ongoing team contributions.
- Collaborate with PMs and cross-functional teams to define product requirements and features, working closely with engineering to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Communicate product status, progress, and upcoming releases to stakeholders, executives, and customers.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including internal user guides and release notes.
- Monitor key product metrics and analytics to identify improvement opportunities and support data-driven decisions.
- Use AI-supported tools to accelerate PO tasks such as drafting requirements, summarizing customer feedback, writing release notes, or researching problem spaces.
- Develop a working knowledge of at least one AI tool (for example, ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot) and apply it where it genuinely saves time in recurring workflows.
Requirements
- Strong desire to learn product management and product development concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- 2+ years of business analyst, product owner, or APM experience with a product used as a regular part of daily work.
- Experience driving projects with a predictable cadence and involving multiple stakeholders across diverse disciplines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High judgment, analytical ability, and creativity for investigating problems that need original and innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated use of AI-supported tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot) in prior work or coursework, including an example of how it saved time or improved output.
- Comfort learning new AI and automation tools quickly and applying them without needing detailed instructions.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly evolving environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment on an East Coast schedule, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.

What Success Looks Like
- In 3 months:
- Develop a strong understanding of Bamboo Health’s products, customers, development processes, and tools.
- Actively participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization discussions.
- Independently document requirements, maintain product artifacts, and support release communications.
- Begin incorporating AI tools into recurring workflows such as documentation, research, and requirements development.
- In 6 months:
- Work closely with your PM and team to create a metrics and instrumentation framework to identify opportunities to unblock growth.
- Collaborate with Design and your PM to run qualitative and quantitative user and customer research that drives feature design and prioritization.
- Partner with your PM on high-level requirements, then break them down into execution-ready requirements and manage the work through release and launch.
- Own and maintain your area’s near-term planned work, ensuring upcoming sprint work is well-defined, ready for execution, and aligned with quarterly roadmap priorities.
- In 12 months:
- Become the go-to subject matter expert on your product area, able to discuss current functionality, in-progress work, and what’s coming next quarter without needing to check with your PM first.
- Operate in lockstep with your PM, managing day-to-day backlog and sprint execution while your PM focuses on strategy and stakeholder alignment.
- Proactively flag risks to the current quarter’s plan and help keep next quarter’s planning on track by surfacing dependencies, gaps, or blockers early.
- Represent your product area’s status, priorities, and current state to internal stakeholders and customers with minimal oversight.
