Product Owner

The Product Owner at Neumo Holdings LLC acts as the bridge between market needs and product delivery. This role owns the backlog end-to-end, collaborates closely with engineering and UX, and uses AI-enabled workflows to create and refine product requirements efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the team focuses on the highest-impact work.
• Write and maintain well-structured epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; use AI tools (for example, Claude, ChatPRD, Rovo) to produce and improve backlog artifacts at scale.
• Develop and maintain reusable prompt templates for recurring Product Owner tasks, including story generation, acceptance criteria drafting, and refinement preparation to keep AI-assisted output consistent and usable by the team.
• Lead planning for product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionality.
• Ensure executed stories align with Neumo’s Definition of Done.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to support successful product releases.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather, validate, and convert requirements into actionable backlog items.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure product decisions are consistent with user needs, business objectives, and technical capabilities.
• Partner with senior leadership to inform product strategy and provide updates on product progress and milestones.
• Monitor and report on product performance, quality, and usage metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working in Agile and a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle phases; experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst is preferred.
• Public sector software experience or familiarity with judicial systems is a strong differentiator.
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Figma.
• Experience using AI productivity tools (for example, Claude, ChatPRD, Copilot) to accelerate story creation and analysis.
• Familiarity with technical concepts including APIs, middleware, services, and SQL.
• Prompt engineering skills applied to product work, including creating context-rich, role-specific prompts that generate well-formed epics, stories, and acceptance criteria, and iterating prompts to align with Definition of Ready/Done.
• Strong written communication and client presence, with the ability to translate between technical and business audiences.
• Ability to create epics, user stories, user journeys, wireframes, and basic diagrams to communicate ideas.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Ability to persuade, encourage, and motivate others to meet deadlines.
