Job Description

Based in Bethpage, NY, with remote work options, this role leads the Digital Acquisition Platforms product line, guiding vision, strategy, and backlog for online account opening and online lending while coordinating with internal partners to deliver a best-in-class digital experience. The position offers a salary range of USD 94,570 to 113,484 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the owned product(s) aligned to business needs.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into a clear product vision through discovery and strategy activities.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivered to stakeholders.
  • Oversee development and delivery of digital acquisition platforms, including online account opening, online lending, and related digital applications.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, business managers, marketing, retail banking, fraud, and consortium partners to ensure a top tier digital acquisition experience.
  • Advocate for the product with leadership and stakeholders to secure end-to-end delivery of the desired outcome.
  • Capture and organize stakeholder needs into themes, epics, and user stories in the backlog via research, interviews, goal setting, and guides.
  • Tell a clear product story, develop personas, and define acceptance criteria and definition of done for each increment.
  • Identify dependencies and map out the sequence of development accordingly.
  • Apply Agile practices, participate in team ceremonies, define user stories, and ensure delivery of product enhancements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring buy-in and clear instructions for developers.
  • Partner with contact center, deposit operations, MX, Technology, and other areas on processes and monitoring results and recommendations.
  • Manage third-party and vendor relationships and accountability for deliverables.
  • Resolve conflicts and drive problem-solving across teams, vendors, and collaborating areas.
  • Plan for future work while maintaining current delivery amid shifting priorities.
  • Develop strategies and implement tools to mitigate fraud and ensure compliance with Customer Identification Programs, including new technology, reports, and processes to prevent fraud.
  • Use data and insights to identify threats and implement changes, partnering with Risk and Fraud to develop risk signals and machine learning prevention strategies.
  • Keep the team informed about emerging issues, trends, and regulatory requirements affecting digital account opening and lending, assessing potential impacts.
  • Collaborate with other Digital Product Owners on best practices and drive growth and strategy to deliver frictionless digital experiences across all acquisition platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of Digital Product Owner experience in a financial institution.
  • 3+ years of experience with Digital Account Opening and Lending Platforms.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics), the Microsoft Suite, and Digital Acquisition Admin Systems.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
