Product Owner II

Agile Defense offers a mission–focused Product Owner II position available onsite at Camp Smith, HI, with a salary range of USD 105,000 to 130,000 per year. You will work in a TS/SCI environment to support INDOPACOM missions through business analysis, planning, data driven solutions, and strong stakeholder collaboration. This role emphasizes impact, collaborative culture, and ongoing opportunities to influence critical operations while you partner with senior military leaders and cross-functional teams.

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements that align with INDOPACOM mission objectives.
• Develop and maintain roadmaps that clearly convey vision, goals, and milestones for current and future initiatives.
• Balance competing priorities to deliver high impact features and capabilities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior military leaders, translating strategic vision into actionable technical requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and planning sessions to gather and prioritize mission needs.
• Work closely with engineering to ensure solutions meet operational goals and technical feasibility.
• Lead Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives to maintain alignment and focus.
• Monitor progress with defined metrics to ensure transparency and accountability across teams.
• Provide guidance on data pipelining and ensure alignment with the Advana War Data Platform for mission-critical analytics.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define requirements and verify the feasibility of data-driven solutions.
• Advocate for integrating advanced analytics and data workflows to optimize INDOPACOM operations.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across INDOPACOM and mission partners to align with priorities.
• Act as a liaison between senior military leaders and technical teams to ensure clear communication.
• Promote collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to drive shared ownership of program success.

Requirements

• Military Experience: Direct military or military contracting experience with a solid understanding of INDOPACOM operations.
• Product Ownership Expertise: 3+ years as a Product Owner, including roadmap development, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
• Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Agile Methodologies: Demonstrated experience within Agile frameworks, with a solid grasp of Scrum or SAFe practices.
• Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of data pipelines and/or the Advana War Data Platform (WDP).
• Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with both senior military leaders and technical teams.
