Product Owner Senior Advisor

The Cigna Group is seeking a Product Owner Senior Advisor to help shape and deliver digital experiences for healthcare enterprise customer website portfolios. This hybrid role in Plano, TX brings together digital leadership, scrum teams, and product stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure timely, error-free delivery across key healthcare capabilities.

You will work closely with a range of partners, facilitating requirement discovery and guiding product roadmaps while providing subject matter expertise across consumer applications/websites and prior authorization and coverage workflows.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with digital leaders, product owners, content authors, designers, engineers, and scrum masters to identify, prioritize, document, and deliver digital features for claims, accounts (HRA/FSA/HSA), coverage/benefits, prior authorizations, and ID cards.
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to capture and refine business needs.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications that connect UX designs, user analytics, and business requirements.
• Support scrum teams by defining business requirements and setting direction through product roadmaps, working with delivery, UX design, and business stakeholders.
• Lead design of web and mobile application features, including user screens, wireframes, screen navigation, and sitemaps.
• Own the team backlog, groom and prioritize work, and decompose program or portfolio epics into actionable items.
• Develop opportunity value for potential roadmap items.
• Drive adoption of new and emerging digital technologies/functionalities and introduce relevant ideas and capabilities regularly.
• Ensure delivery teams produce releases on time and with fewer defects by applying typical Agile Methodologies and Scrum.
• Perform business functionality checkout during implementation and analyze issues such as errors in data use or application development problems.
• Work in a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in any systems analysis role.
• Experience in the healthcare domain including claims, coverage/benefits, prior authorizations, and ID cards.
• Digital product ownership and systems analysis experience, including HRA, FSA, and HSA accounts.
• Digital product management experience, including developing and maintaining product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Experience owning and grooming team backlog, including decomposing epics into actionable items.
• Web and mobile application design knowledge, with UX principles for user screens, wireframes, screen navigation, and sitemaps.
• Experience applying UX principles and collaborating with design teams, plus technical specification development.
• Ability to integrate UX designs, analytics, and business requirements into cohesive technical specifications, and experience as a SAFe methodology Product Owner.
• Experience facilitating requirement gathering sessions and translating business needs into technical specifications, including roadmap, user screens, wireframes, navigation, and sitemaps.
• Experience with data analysis, web and mobile application feature design, and working with UX design teams.
• Agile experience with Scrum and tools including Rally, Jira, and Wrike.
