Product Owner - Supplier Management

NTT DATA is building and evolving enterprise capabilities that improve supplier management, procurement, and broader supply chain operations. As the Product Owner for Supplier Management, you will translate business goals into product capabilities and help steer delivery across Agile teams, while partnering with global stakeholders to support implementation and adoption.

This onsite role is located in San Diego, CA. The starting hourly range is USD 75 to 80, and final compensation depends on factors such as work location, experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

What you will do

• Act as Product Owner for solutions supporting supplier management, procurement, and supply chain processes.
• Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand needs and translate them into product features and requirements.
• Define and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and the product backlog.
• Prioritize features and requirements using input from business needs, data, risk, and overall product objectives.
• Support enterprise software implementation and transformation initiatives using Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate discussions across business, technology, and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with global supply chain organizations to support solution development and implementation.
• Communicate product priorities, requirements, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support organizational change and adoption tied to new processes and technology solutions.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of professional experience, including:
  • 3+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Lead Business Analyst, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years working with Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Management, or ERP-related solutions.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise software implementation or transformation programs using Agile methodologies.
  • 1+ year defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.

Preferred qualifications

• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification or another SAFe/Agile certification.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement business processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into product features and technical requirements.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and change management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Experience implementing solutions related to supplier management, strategic sourcing, procurement, compliance, risk management, and supplier lifecycle management.
• Experience with the PROCURE platform is preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERP platforms such as Infor LN/Baan, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
• Experience working with global supply chain organizations and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to use data to support prioritization and product decision-making.
