Job Description

The Technical Product Owner for Workday at RSM is responsible for leading and participating in business solution analysis, testing, implementation, and ongoing support for Finance and HCM integrations within the Workday platform. This position combines requirements work with coordination of testing, training, and support for Finance and Talent processes and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Research, document, and interpret functional requirements for enhancements to existing integrations and processes, as well as implementation of new tools or processes
  • Design integration approaches and data flows in and out of Workday
  • Establish and manage relationships with Finance and Talent subject matter experts and Digital Solutions
  • Lead development of documentation, including process flows, knowledge materials, and training content
  • Identify potential changes in scope and requirements, and follow through to obtain decisions
  • Develop test case design and support testing activities
  • Perform scheduled and ad hoc testing and maintenance for existing integrations and business processes
  • Serve as a Workday tester when new technology tools are developed and evaluated
  • Complete Workday integration testing that requires UAT testing and signoff
  • Document and share testing results with relevant stakeholders
  • Assess business needs and develop solutions to address business problems
  • Identify issues and follow up with engagement teams and other escalations as needed
  • Act as an escalation point for Level 3 support ticket follow up when assigned, including communications and alignment with Digital Solutions
  • Mentor Digital Solutions team members
  • Build and leverage internal and external networks
  • Contribute actively to the development and improvement of Workday team processes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology required
  • SAFe/Agile certifications
  • Workday certifications
  • Integration experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Genuine interest and strong aptitude for technology
  • Strong technical expertise in the MS Office suite
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Prior public accounting experience with a mid to large size firm(s), or other professional services experience
  • Prior management experience working within a Workday environment

Compensation and Location

Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite)

Compensation Range: USD 111,200 - 190,300 per year

Discretionary Bonus: Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
