Product Owner with Payments Experience-2

Realign LLC is seeking a Product Owner with payments and wires experience to help steer an agile product backlog and lead an important modernization effort in payment rails. This onsite role in Dallas, TX supports a focused, compliance-aware delivery process, with clear ownership from backlog through release readiness.

What you’ll own

You will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the agile product backlog, using tools such as JIRA. Your day-to-day work includes shaping work into strong product outcomes by maintaining backlog quality, defining what “done” looks like, and ensuring delivery teams have the requirements they need to meet release expectations.

• Own, groom, and prioritize the agile product backlog using tools like JIRA
• Define clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Oversee the transition from legacy wire architectures to modern payment rails (including ISO 20022 and FedNow)
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, compliance officers, and IT delivery teams
• Review and accept Agile deliverables, ensuring specified acceptance criteria and compliance standards are met prior to release
