This on-site role in Kingwood, TX, centers on delivering a strategic, cross-functional Workday product experience within Retirement Services.

The Retirement Services Product Manager for Workday will own integration, onboarding and conversion setup, release and enhancement management, and coordinate cross-functional product strategy with ITS, Operations, Compliance and DS&E. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, and it is based onsite in Kingwood, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Workday integration lifecycle, including release management, creation of product playbooks, and gathering high-level requirements to ensure alignment with company strategy and department financial goals.
  • Oversee the Retirement Services Workday integration and collaborate with other enterprise Workday users to facilitate plan setups and updates.
  • Plan and execute testing for application releases and installations within the department.
  • Contribute to business planning in support of overall product strategy objectives.
  • Manage communications and issue resolution with ITS and other units as needed.
  • Partner with Operations, Compliance and other Insperity units to achieve business goals.
  • Coordinate with other Retirement Services Project Managers to ensure alignment of application strategy with business objectives.
  • Communicate business value, product availability, positioning and messaging to cross-functional teams, other business units, and senior management as appropriate.
  • Direct multi-department projects and report status to Management as required.
  • Evaluate and report on current application performance and usage metrics.
  • Provide level 1 support as the primary departmental resource during Disaster Recovery situations.
  • Serve as the first level troubleshooter for retirement services application issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Five to seven years of product or application management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Workday is required.
  • Understanding of how payroll processes affect retirement plans is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude is required.
  • Ability to translate business strategy, engineering, user experience and data-driven decision making into meaningful product design and execution.
  • Aptitude for handling complex assignments, analyzing problems, and delivering effective solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead problems to resolution by coordinating resources and knowledge.
  • Experience with a Multiple Employer Defined Contribution Plan is a plus.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Self-starter who can work independently, innovate, and seek improved business processes.
  • Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills, with the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
