S4 Product Owner Innovation to Order

At Honeywell in Atlanta, GA 30308, this S4 Product Owner role sits at the center of turning product direction into sprint-ready work for a designated functional area. You will translate the S4 Product Manager’s roadmap and program backlog items into an actionable Agile backlog, partnering closely with business and delivery teams to drive business value.

What you’ll do

• Own, manage, and prioritize the Team Backlog for your S4 functional area, ensuring user stories, defects, and enablers are clearly defined and ordered by business value.
• Translate the S4 Product Manager’s vision, roadmap, and program backlog items into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and team-level deliverables.
• Serve as the primary representative of business stakeholders and end-users for the Agile team, providing day-to-day clarification, guidance, and feedback.
• Support Program Increment (PI) Planning by contributing to feature breakdowns, team-level PI objectives, identifying dependencies, and aligning sprint work to program priorities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, other Product Owners, Scrum Masters, business process owners, and technical teams to maintain alignment across the Agile Release Train.
• Define and communicate acceptance criteria, validate completed work, and accept user stories to ensure they meet the Definition of Done.
• Participate in sprint planning activities, backlog refinement, iteration reviews, and retrospectives to support continuous delivery of business value.
• Monitor sprint progress, answer requirement questions, help remove blockers, and escalate risks or dependencies as needed.
• Ensure delivered S4 capabilities support process standardization, operational efficiency, and business transformation objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of experience working as a Project Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile delivery environment.
• 3+ years of strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP S4, and innovation to order processes.
• 3+ years using Jira to manage backlogs, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and support Agile team execution.
• 3+ years of experience translating business needs into clear functional requirements for technical and delivery teams.
• 3+ years with strong collaboration skills working across business, IT, and delivery teams.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
