About S&A (Standardization & Automation)

S&A views technology as a foundational enabler for Finance, where data is made available at different grains for analysis and planning. The team’s approach emphasizes automation for planning, powered by business-led inputs and automatic calculations to support comparison of scenarios.

The vision includes a future where financial planning is substantially HOTW with low to no human touch. Planners will come to PLANet once the planning cycle starts, with inputs already loaded through Input Automation and Inputs forecasting (based on predictive forecasting). Plans will be pre-computed under multiple scenarios using past scenarios, historical actions, adjustments, and the latest inputs, supported by descriptive plan summaries and comparisons. The system will also scientifically recommend a best plan aligned to planners’ intent, delivered in a highly modular way, including GenAI based agentic workflows.
