Job Description

Guidewire’s Applications portfolio needs a Senior Product Operations Manager to strengthen the operating rhythms that keep product-domain execution consistent and measurable. In this remote role, you will own domain operations, run governance cadences, and turn operational signals into clearer visibility for teams shipping Core Applications.

What you’ll do

  • Own operations for a product domain, managing the recurring operational rhythms of Core Applications end to end, including reporting, release support, documentation, onboarding, planning coordination, and tooling administration.
  • Run governance rituals by operating the mechanics of portfolio cadences: Monthly Executive Portfolio Review, Biweekly Capability Review, and Quarterly Vision Council. This includes scheduling, pre-reads, decision logs, action tracking, and follow-through.
  • Keep the release cadence reliable through backlog hygiene, portfolio reporting, and SDLC/GPR governance evidence so roadmap status and commitments remain accurate and Core Applications can sustain a steady rhythm of updates.
  • Turn signals into insight by creating and managing domain product-health dashboards and analyzing feedback to surface risks early, highlight variances, and recommend corrective action.
  • Improve how the domain operates by driving continuous process improvement across operational workflows, while supporting PM enablement and AI-fluency logistics as the operating model evolves.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product operations, program/project management, PMO, or a comparable operational role, ideally in an enterprise B2B SaaS or product organization.
  • Strong operational discipline and program-management skills, with the ability to build order across moving parts and drive work to closure.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI to operational work and familiarity with Agentic SDLC.
  • Analytical fluency with reporting and dashboards, plus judgment to connect operational data to outcomes.
  • Tool proficiency with planning and tracking tools such as Aha!, Jira, and Confluence, including comfort administering and improving them.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills across product, engineering, design, and go-to-market partners.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and surface risks proactively.

Technologies

  • Aha!
  • Jira
  • Confluence

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • A company sponsored retirement plan
  • Annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards (contingent on a variety of factors, including company and employee performance)
  • All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week are eligible for benefits that support health and well-being

Additional information

  • Location: Remote (remote)
  • Compensation: USD 148,000 - 254,000 per yearly
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years
  • Strongly preferred: Experience supporting portfolio governance, planning cadences, or leadership operating rhythms; exposure to P&C insurance or another highly regulated, enterprise software domain; product management experience in a SaaS organization.
