Senior Product Owner

Direct Supply is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead the execution of complex initiatives across multiple teams or within a program. In this onsite role in Milwaukee, you will work closely with engineering and data science to deliver scalable, AI-enhanced product capabilities, while keeping prioritization, delivery standards, and customer impact aligned to roadmap outcomes.

Beyond driving delivery, this position also includes mentoring other Product Owners and strengthening backlog quality so teams can sequence work with clear acceptance criteria and measurable success. You will use intelligent tooling and data to guide decisions, help refine tactical plans from strategic roadmaps, and partner with Product Managers to evolve plans based on execution feedback.

What you’ll do

• Guide execution of complex product initiatives across multiple teams or within a program.
• Refine backlogs with clear priorities, acceptance criteria, and sequencing to support delivery goals.
• Lead development of AI-enhanced product features in partnership with data science and engineering.
• Track progress against roadmap goals and customer impact, adjusting plans in real time to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with architecture and tech leads to support scalability, technical feasibility, and delivery readiness.
• Mentor and support other Product Owners on backlog hygiene, delivery standards, and stakeholder communication.
• Use intelligent tooling and data to shape decision-making and refine prioritization.
• Ensure backlogs reflect customer insight, operational considerations, and strategic goals.
• Translate product roadmap into tactical delivery plans with measurable success criteria.
• Partner with Product Managers to evolve strategic plans based on execution input and delivery feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or Agile delivery role.
• Demonstrated experience leading delivery across teams or programs.
• Strong experience working in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha!).
• Experience with AI or automation technologies preferred.
