Senior Product Owner

Hybrid role in Auburn Hills, MI with the opportunity to shape digital auto finance experiences at Stellantis Financial Services US. In this position, you will connect product strategy to delivery by leading backlogs, coordinating agile execution across teams, and serving as a trusted bridge between leadership, partners, and the development organization.

How you’ll make impact

• Partner with Product Managers to define the long-term product vision and strategy for auto finance offerings, aligning to company objectives and industry trends.
• Lead multi-year product roadmaps, balancing innovation, technical debt, and stakeholder priorities.
• Oversee the product backlog for multiple agile teams or a product portfolio, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, risk, and dependencies.
• Drive backlog refinement at scale to keep stories clear, feasible, and aligned across teams.
• Act as a key point of contact for senior leadership, external partners (including dealership networks and credit bureaus), and cross-functional groups.
• Negotiate trade-offs and secure buy-in from executives and stakeholders on product direction and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, architects, and developers to support seamless execution for complex, cross-team initiatives.
• Apply deep auto finance domain knowledge across areas such as lending, leasing, credit risk, servicing, dealership, and collections to anticipate customer needs and market shifts.
• Use advanced analytics, customer feedback, and competitive insights to refine product offerings.
• Define success metrics and ensure delivered solutions meet high standards for usability, performance, and compliance (including CFPB regulations, and GDPR if applicable).
• Oversee end-to-end validation, coordinating large-scale UAT and post-launch optimization.
• Identify opportunities to integrate emerging technologies into the ecosystem, including AI for credit scoring and blockchain for secure transactions.
• Improve agile processes to raise team efficiency and product outcomes.
• Mentor and coach junior Product Owners and other team members to strengthen collaboration and continuous improvement.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience enabling digital processes, executing strategic roadmaps, and operating in an agile scrum environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business, marketing, engineering, communications, or a related field.
• Analytical and design skills to synthesize diverse information, generate creative solutions, and apply detailed design processes using both data and intuition.
• Problem-solving and technical skills to identify and resolve issues through strong analysis, share expertise, and build knowledge continuously.
• Clear oral and written communication, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and stay open to new ideas.
• Leadership and teamwork mindset to balance team and individual responsibilities and participate effectively in team dynamics.
• Adaptability and quality management to manage change, pursue quality improvement, and respond with resilience.
• Professionalism and business acumen, including understanding business implications, aligning work to strategic goals, and maintaining ethics and organizational support.
• Overtime required on an as-needed basis.
• Travel 0–10% on an as-needed basis.
• Reliable transportation and residence within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.
• Authorization to work in the United States (Stellantis Financial Services, Inc. will not sponsor work visas for this position).
• Preferred: Agile or SAFe Agile experience.

Work setup

• Hybrid work model.
• Ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs, typically 8AM–6PM Monday through Friday with weekends as needed.
• Physical demands include sitting for long periods, using hands and arms to operate office equipment, occasional reaching/stooping/standing/walking, and occasional lifting or moving up to 10 pounds.
• Work environment noise level is usually moderate.
