Senior Project Manager, UX Research Operations

Starbucks is looking for a Senior Project Manager for UX Research Operations in the greater Seattle area (onsite). In this role, you will help digital product teams run research more effectively by improving research operations, managing study logistics, and strengthening the systems that support recruiting and participant operations. You can expect a structured, cross-functional environment supported by practical tools and clear operational ownership.

Onsite work: Work onsite 4 days/week at the Starbucks Support Center in Seattle, with occasional local travel.

What you will do

• Streamline UX research operations by identifying process gaps and executing improvement plans.
• Own research study logistics, including setup and coordination such as Miro boards, equipment preparation, observation rooms, and travel needs.
• Increase team efficiency by managing and implementing research tools.
• Track the status and progress of UX research recruiting requests.
• Recruit and schedule research participants across US and Canadian company-owned markets.
• Partner with Coffeehouse leaders and partners to support research needs.
• Manage participant-related operations, including participant panels, consent forms, and data usage reviews.

What you bring

• 5+ years of research operations management, including scope, time, cost, risk, quality, procurement, and communications.
• 5+ years working with UX research teams on complex or mid-sized projects.
• 5+ years building strong cross-functional relationships.
• 2+ years mentoring research professionals in research operations.
• 5+ years of corporate experience in large, matrixed organizations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and a process-oriented mindset.
• Experience recruiting and scheduling research participants.
• Strong Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams experience (Teams Live events are a plus).
• Experience using UX tools such as Figma and Jira.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days/week at the Starbucks Support Center (Seattle), with occasional local travel.

Compensation and benefits

Salary: USD 112,900 - 169,500 per year.
