Senior Technical Product Owner - Analytics
Job Description
MDVIP LLC is mission-driven and focused on advancing personalized healthcare through data and innovation. In this onsite role in Boca Raton, you’ll help shape analytics and data product roadmaps end-to-end, partnering with business and engineering teams to turn MDVIP’s data assets into measurable business outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Build deep expertise across business and technical domains by understanding doctor and patient personas, value proposition, competitive landscape, business workflows, and the data assets and architecture behind them.
- Own the product backlog and requirements for assigned analytics/data products, partnering with business teams in marketing, operations, sales, and member services to translate goals into actionable user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria grounded in data.
- Design conceptual data models that convert business questions into a shared, well-structured view of MDVIP data, defining entities, relationships, metrics, and definitions, and collaborating with data architects and data engineers to move models into implementation.
- Use hands-on data skills (SQL, Python) to interrogate data throughout development, including sizing opportunities, prioritizing the backlog, measuring ROI on delivered features, and producing reporting that ties roadmap delivery to MDVIP business outcomes and quantifies next improvements.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including scrum, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews, to maintain clarity and alignment as requirements evolve.
- Define and own success metrics for each shipped product and feature by establishing baselines with business partners before launch, instrumenting for measurement, and reporting actual impact after release (revenue, retention, efficiency, member experience).
- Apply AI throughout the lifecycle using AI tools to accelerate analysis, requirements development, prototyping, and testing, while championing an AI-first approach to building and delivering data products.
- Drive AI-based data self-service capabilities in partnership with marketing, operations, and other business teams, enabling business users to answer questions from key data assets and reducing reliance on custom dashboards and one-off reporting.
- Create wireframes and mockups for dashboards and data visualization in BI tools, iterating with business users and developers so delivered visuals answer the right questions.
- Analyze the current platform in the context of end-to-end business processes across marketing campaigns, sales workflows, member services operations, and supporting systems, using data to define and quantify operational problems and guide enhancements from planning through testing and implementation.
- Validate solutions through QA and by managing and executing UAT plans with business stakeholders, collaborating with engineering during user testing and complex validation sessions, and refining solutions as needed to meet business needs.
- Provide product input into architecture decisions for EMR and proprietary data assets to support AI-driven insights, business team effectiveness, and a best-in-class member experience.
- Apply working knowledge of the healthcare industry to shape user stories and ensure assigned products meet healthcare regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and other relevant compliance standards.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience in product ownership, business analysis, or technical product management, preferably supporting analytics or data products.
- Hands-on data skills, including strong SQL and Python, analytics tooling, and experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks; experience designing conceptual and logical data models.
- Ability to serve as a liaison between business and engineering; experience owning a product backlog and facilitating agile ceremonies (scrum, backlog refinement, sprint planning); experience building wireframes and dashboards with BI/data-visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Practical experience applying AI/LLM tools in a product or analytics context.
