Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a ServiceNow Product Owner to lead the definition, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions in a dynamic IT Service Management environment at our Reston, Virginia facility. Responsibilities
- Convert mission needs into clear user stories and a prioritized backlog for the ServiceNow team, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Collaborate with internal clients, process owners, and cross-functional partners to gather requirements, define success criteria, and refine platform strategy.
- Partner with developers, testers, and Scrum Masters during daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver features on schedule.
- Support governance of the ServiceNow platform by upholding standards, aligning with enterprise architecture, and preserving configuration integrity.
- Create and share user training, documentation, and internal communications to raise platform literacy and drive adoption across the organization.
- Lead change management efforts tied to new ServiceNow releases or capability rollouts, reducing disruption while maximizing value.
- Monitor usage, solicit user feedback, and analyze metrics to drive ongoing improvements.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Agile or Scrum environments
- At least 3 years delivering for clients, participating in change boards, shaping product roadmaps, designing requirements, and tracking value metrics
- Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in ServiceNow platform development and operations
- Experience leading training sessions or managing change initiatives
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices
- Knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM and ITOM
- Ability to manage backlogs and work with development teams
- Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to undergo a polygraph examination
- Education options include: high school diploma or GED with 7+ years of IT project support; Associate degree with 5+ years of IT project support; or Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of IT project support
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification within 30 days of start date (eg Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND)

Work Model
This position is onsite in Reston, VA. Work will primarily occur at a Booz Allen facility or a customer site as required by the role.
Compensation
Salary ranges from USD 77,600 to 176,000 per year. Final compensation is determined by location, education, experience, skills, and contract-specific considerations.
Security clearance
Candidates must be eligible for access to classified information and will undergo a security investigation. TS/SCI clearance is required.
