Job Description

Snowflake Platform Product Owner leads the Snowflake product across Infor’s Data & AI capabilities, owning the platform’s business case, roadmap, and consumption economics while aligning standards and costs across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own Snowflake as a product from a single business point of view, with a published roadmap, a prioritized backlog, and accountable consumption economics spanning the data marketplace and the AI agent runtime.
  • Own the platform economics, including costs tied to capabilities and each team, anomaly alerts before cost events, run rate tracking to plan, and a defensible financial case based on measurable business value.
  • Define platform standards that every team builds on, covering distribution of certified data products through the marketplace, governed agent-to-data access, and exploratory work without shadow environments, earned through demonstrated value.
  • Own the platform's AI and ML features, prioritizing and shaping capabilities (Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents, the feature store, the model registry) with a clean handoff for teams ready to own the AI technology directly.
  • Experiment to identify better usage and cost options, recommending where analytics, AI, and ML workloads should run with documented economics, and lifting the organization’s Snowflake literacy to drive effective use.
  • Manage the Snowflake vendor relationship from the business side, including consumption economics, pricing structure, and feature roadmap influence, coordinated with the data-side product owner to maintain alignment between business and technology.

Requirements

  • Experience in data, analytics, or data-platform product roles including end-to-end ownership of a major data or AI platform, with a published roadmap, prioritized backlog, and consumption economics as the accountability.
  • Fluency with Snowflake and hands-on platform work, including data marketplace, certified data distribution, Cortex workloads (Analyst, Search, Agents), the feature store, model registry, governed agent-to-data access, and exploratory workspaces, aligned with a technical counterpart.
  • Strong command of consumption economics and FinOps for vendor-managed, usage-priced platforms, including anomaly handling, threshold management, run rate to plan, and a spend case defensible against measured value.
  • Proven track record of owning a platform used by teams outside direct control, earning adoption through value rather than authority and influencing data engineering and AI engineering audiences without direct reports.
  • Experience recommending where AI and ML workloads should run, comparing options (for example Cortex versus external ML platforms) with recommendations grounded in measured value.
  • Experience advocating for platforms to deliver high-value outcomes, increasing organizational fluency and ensuring the platform is used well, not just paid for.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
