Sr Product Manager
Job Description
At Hasbro, this Senior Principal Product Manager role sits within an AI Studio focused on intelligent character interactions. You will help set the direction and build a practical path forward, turning uncertainty into capabilities that shape how characters and stories come to life across digital and physical experiences.
In this onsite position in Los Angeles, CA, you will lead product thinking for AI-powered character experiences, balancing long-term vision with execution through prototypes, pilots, and early releases.
What you’ll define
- Define and evolve the product vision for AI-powered character interactions, with a clear view of what comes next.
- Convert open-ended questions into actionable priorities by structuring discovery, framing opportunities, and focusing on what matters most.
- Explore new concepts through prototypes, pilots, and early releases to learn quickly and guide decisions.
How you’ll translate story into product
- Collaborate with creative, narrative, and brand partners to translate character intent including voice, personality, canon, and emotional truth into product requirements and technical systems.
- Partner with engineers and external development teams by writing clear requirements, setting priorities, and defining success criteria.
How you’ll decide and deliver
- Determine when to build internally, partner, or license capabilities, and help develop a thoughtful technology approach over time.
- Support delivery and adoption of new capabilities, review outcomes, measure impact, and adjust direction based on what you learn.
What you bring
- 8+ years of product management experience, including work on complex or emerging products.
- Experience operating in undefined or zero-to-one environments where direction is still being discovered.
- Strong judgment and comfort making decisions with incomplete information.
- A structured approach to prioritization, requirements definition, and impact assessment.
- Curiosity and a habit of questioning assumptions, validating ideas through evidence.
- Experience with character or narrative-centered products, narrative systems, or IP-led experiences.
- A builder’s approach, taking early concepts from idea to pilot and real-world use.
- Exposure to AI-powered technologies or third-party solutions (deep technical expertise not required).
- Comfort collaborating with small teams and external partners in environments where structure is still evolving.
