Job Description

The Senior Product Manager responsible for shaping personalization and guidance experiences within the Amazon Advertising console, defining the multi-year vision and roadmap, and coordinating with data scientists and engineers to improve advertiser outcomes. This onsite role in Seattle, WA offers a salary range of USD 151,200 - 204,600 per year and requires a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate the long-term product vision and roadmap for personalized experiences within the console, ensuring alignment with advertiser workflows, needs, and cross-functional priorities across the organization.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to evaluate model selection, algorithm design, and infrastructure tradeoffs, translating technical possibilities into product decisions that define the achievable scope of personalization.
  • Make high-judgment decisions on the sequencing and scope of personalization, determining which console surfaces to prioritize first, balancing confidence with coverage, and recognizing when static experiences better serve advertisers.
  • Foster cross-team alignment with partners owning adjacent console surfaces, resolve competing priorities, and build shared conviction for the direction of personalization to enable seamless and consistent advertiser experiences.
  • Define success metrics, instrument tracking, and analyze performance data to understand how personalized experiences impact advertiser outcomes, using insights to tune models and refine the road map.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
