Job Description

Senior Product Manager for Amazon Tablets, onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for next-generation tablets and lead end-to-end development across hardware and software experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creation and execution of a customer-centric product strategy and vision for next-generation high-volume tablets used by adults and kids, enabling new use cases, improved performance, and integrated experiences that deliver a cohesive customer journey.
  • Steer initiatives across the product lifecycle from concept through development to launch.
  • Oversee device launches, guiding the full lifecycle from inception to mass production in collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Go to Market, Public Relations, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and communicate strategies that maximize Android benefits and access to Amazon content and services, translating them into actionable roadmaps.
  • Create precise business requirements and user stories suitable for deriving product specifications and architectural plans.
  • Balance priorities among user experience, performance, and operational excellence.
  • Proactively identify and resolve obstacles that could prevent meeting strategic, financial, and technical goals.
  • Secure alignment for the product vision with leadership and cross-functional partners, including Product leads, Engineering, UX, Legal, Finance, and others.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or related technology roles.
  • Experience delivering features and evaluating tradeoffs within a product context.
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience delivering products end to end.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience representing and advocating for diverse critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
  • Bachelor's degree.
